Stacia Davis is opening Red Barn Jewelry in downtown Bellingham, offering a variety of jewelry as well as custom pieces.

Davis is planning a grand opening for 4-9 p.m. on Friday, June 27 at 2 Prospect St., near Bayou On Bay. Once open, store hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday, closed Monday and Tuesday.

The 350-square-foot space will be home to the store as well as her studio. Davis works in silver and gold.

"I do a lot of custom pieces using stones and objects people have found or have personal meaning," Davis said in a news release.

Davis plans to donate 15 percent of her sales to her Peace of Love Project, which benefits villagers in Thailand. Davis taught English in Thailand and was instrumental in raising money to build a school that serves eight nearby villages.
