Department of Revenue to host free Bellingham workshop for business owners

Here's a news release from the Washington State Department of Revenue about an upcoming workshop in Bellingham:

OLYMPIA – Business owners in Washington are responsible for knowing which taxes to report. To help them, the Washington State Department of Revenue (Revenue) is hosting a free workshop for new and small business owners in Bellingham 1-4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8.

It will be held at the WSP/WSDOT Conference Room, 3920 Airport Way.

Participants will learn about Washington excise taxes, reporting classifications, deductions, tax incentives, sales tax collection and record-keeping requirements. Attendees receive a workbook and helpful reference guide to Revenue’s rules and regulations.
