Concerts at Elizabeth Park get going with Legendary Chucklenuts

Elizabeth Park, at Elizabeth and Madison streets, is the setting for free, family-friendly concerts by the gazebo, with local and regional bands playing from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, June 26, through Aug. 28.

Kicking off the series this Thursday are the Legendary Chucklenuts, playing rhythm and blues, rock and blues.

Picnics are welcome, and local food vendors will be on site.

Among the bands playing are Tim McHugh and the Lost Poets on July 3, Yogoman Burning Band on July 24 and Dana Lyons on Aug. 7. Details: cob.org.
