THE BELLINGHAM HERALDJune 24, 2014

EVERSON - An Everson-area dairy that's part of the Organic Valley cooperative is offering free tours this weekend as part of its nationwide Farm Discovery events.

Edelweiss Dairy, one of Organic Valley's participating farmer-owned suppliers, is offering free tours from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 28, at 1519 Timon Road north of Everson. Featured at Hans and Colleen Wolfisberg's farm are 180 Jersey cows, rabbits, goats, chicken and an organic garden.

Make a reservation and see a video of the farm at organicvalley.coop/who-is-your-farmer/farm-discovery/northwest/#12.

To reach the farm from Bellingham, take Hannegan Road north to Front Street in Lynden. Turn right on Front Street to Hampton Road and turn right. Follow Hampton to Northwood Road and turn right. Edelweiss Dairy is on the right, where Northwood curves into Timon Road.

Organic Valley dairy products are sold in several Whatcom County markets, including the Community Food Co-op, Fred Meyer and Albertson's.
