Northwest Senior Living Expo starts Friday at Silver Reef

LUMMI RESERVATION - The Northwest Senior Living Expo will kick off Friday, June 27, with live music, interactive demonstrations and informational seminars.

The expo is free to the public and will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Silver Reef Event Center off Haxton Way. Parking is free. Facilities are accessible to the disabled.

Interactive demonstrations will be given on activities including painting, container gardening and fitness.

Presentations on topics of interest for seniors, such as travel and health care, will be given by speakers from Bellingham Travel and Cruise, the Alzheimer Society, Trish Harding School of Art and Hecht Aesthetic Center.

Vendors from both national and local companies and organizations will be present to demonstrate their products and services.
