Brian Doyle the guest author on Chuckanut Radio Hour


Portland author Brian Doyle talks about "The Plover" at the Chuckanut Radio Hour at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 26 2014 at Whatcom Community College's Heiner Center Theater in Bellingham.


Brian Doyle, the author of "Mink River," will kick off the Chuckanut Writers Conference at the Chuckanut Radio Hour on Thursday, June 26, at Whatcom Community College's Heiner Theatre, 237 W. Kellogg Road.

Doyle will be interviewed about his latest novel, "The Plover," the story of a sea voyage that becomes a rapturous, heartfelt celebration of life's surprising paths.

Musical guest is guitarist and singer Sarah Goodin.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; you must be seated by 6:45 as the show begins promptly at 7.

Tickets for Chuckanut Radio Hour are $5, available at Village Books. People receive one free ticket with each pre-show, in-store purchase of "The Plover."
