Bells offense falls flat against Bend


The Bellingham Bells fell to the Bend Elks 3-0 in a West Coast League game Saturday night, June 21, at Joe Martin Field.

Patrick McGuff allowed just one hit over six innings of work, and Louis Cohen and Kevin Sheets combined to pitch the final three innings, allowing just two hits in the process.

The Elks got on the board early with two runs in the first inning off starter Zach Johnson. Bellingham wasn't able to string anything together offensively after that.
