Garden Spot Nursery celebrates International Fairy Day

In celebration of International Fairy Day on Tuesday, June 24, Garden Spot Nursery, at 900 Alabama St., hosts a party for fairy enthusiasts at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21. Kids and adults are invited to come in costume.

Join a high-noon promenade around the nursery, enjoy fairy food, make a fairy crown and enter a drawing for a chance to win a potted fairy garden.

The event is free, but call 360-676-5480 to register.

Also, a drop-in fairy-garden class starts at 11 a.m. in the greenhouse. Free is $39, buy a ticket from the cashier.
