The Dance Studio presents "A Night at the Movies," an energetic and interactive dance production that celebrates cinema through the decades, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 21, and 2 p.m. Sunday, June 22, at Mount Baker Theatre, 104 N. Commercial St.

The night begins with a red-carpet "Belebrity" entrance and a quick pose in front of the paparazzi. Guests will then be entertained as dancers do the Charleston with "The Great Gatsby," tap-battle through "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly," breakdance with "Beetlejuice" and prance with "The Pink Panther."

The fast-paced production, under the direction of Brittany Setter, features dancers of all ages, including the Dance Studio's dads, who transform the stage into a high-flying acrobatic spectacle starring three of Whatcom County's graduating seniors.

Tickets, $14, are at 360-734-6080 and mountbakertheatre.com.
