Fairhaven District hosts solstice walk, special events, June 20

Celebrate the start of summer with artful festivities in Fairhaven at the annual Fairhaven Summer Solstice Walk from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 20, in the historic Fairhaven district.

Eighteen businesses will stay open late with special events: 12th Street Shoes, Whatcom Art Market, Three French Hens, Skylarks, Silvery Moon, The Garden Room, Artwood, Good Earth Pottery, Bay to Baker, Renaissance Celebration, Whimsey, Bead Bazaar, A Lot of Flowers, Colophon Cafe, Drizzle, Paper Dreams, Village Books and Fairhaven Toy Garden.
