Skip Gorman brings cowboy songs, fiddle tunes to YWCA ballroom

Skip Gorman presents an evening of cowboy songs and American fiddle tunes at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2014 at the YWCA ballroom, 1026 N. Forest St. in Bellingham.

Skip Gorman, a New Hampshire mandolin player who plays in the style of Bill Monroe, will present an evening of cowboy songs and American fiddle tunes at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 20, at the YWCA ballroom, 1026 N. Forest St.

Gorman has performed on Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion" and at bluegrass festivals, cowboy gatherings, folk venues and Celtic music festivals throughout the U.S. and Europe.
