Rave: Thanks good Samaritans on Guide Meridian

COURTESY TO THE BELLINGHAM HERALDJune 15, 2014

I don't have a car, so I was walking northbound on the Guide Meridian, on my way to Walmart to buy a money order. Part way there I fell, landing on the cement, in a very undignified way! Only a few minutes later, I noticed through my pain, a number of people around me; one saying he was calling 911, another, who I later heard was a nurse, was helping me try to figure out where I hurt and also called my daughter, ( my whole body hurt at that point). I also remember a sweet lady holding my hand being very nice and telling me help was coming soon. There were a couple of others, but they were behind me and I wasn't able to see them. On the way to the hospital I started to think that I didn't remember if I thanked them or not; I know I didn't thank the people behind me, because I couldn't see them, and couldn't tell how many were there. I would like to thank them all, and if I already did, I'd like to thank them again, for coming to my aid, I appreciate them all immensely. The doctor checked me out, and thankfully there are no broken bones, but I have a lot of sore muscles, and will probably have them for sometime to come! Thanks!
