Century Link to close Seattle call center, lay off 158 people

Century Link has filed a state Worker Adjustment Retraining Notification for its Seattle call center. It will close the center effective Aug. 11, laying off 158 people.

According to an article in The Seattle Times (link), Century Link plans to shift the work to other call centers in the U.S.
