Deming Logging Show runs June 14-15

Thirty-one competitive events take place at the 51st annual Deming Logging Show, Saturday and Sunday, June 14-15, at the show grounds, 3295 Cedarville Road.

Among other contests, competitors vie in log-loading, axe-throwing, block-chopping, hand-bucking, pole-falling and tree-climbing.

The RV gate opens at 6 a.m.; all other gates open at 8 a.m.

Admission: $7 adults; $4 for seniors and children 6 to 12; free for kids 5 and younger. Proceeds support families of dead or injured loggers. Details: 360-599-2408, demingloggingshow.com.
