Green Party of Whatcom County to hold candidate forum

BELLINGHAM - The Green Party of Whatcom County will host a candidate forum for races that will appear on the Aug. 5 primary ballot.

Candidates for both U.S. House seats that represent the county, the state House seat vacated by Jason Overstreet, R-Lynden, and the Public Utility District of Whatcom County will appear from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, June 12 at the offices of RE Sources for Sustainable Communities.

The free, public event will be in the Sustainable Living Center, upstairs at 2309 Meridian St.

U.S. congressional incumbents Rick Larsen, D-Everett, and Suzan DelBene, D-Medina, have not been confirmed. Nor has Jeffrey McClure, the incumbent PUD commissioner.
