Bells lose to Walla Walla 10-6


The Bellingham Bells lost the second game of their series 10-6 against Walla Walla on Saturday, June 7, at Borleske Stadium in Walla Walla.

Bellingham topped the Sweets on Friday, but Walla Walla came out swinging and built a sizable lead.

The Bells kept it close, as they collected 10 hits including a two-out, two-RBI single by Dallass Carroll.

Brad Monson started for the Bells but only pitched two innings, allowing nine runs for the loss.

Jesse Houser got the win for Walla Walla, as he pitched 5 1/3 innings, giving up just two runs with four walks and six strikeouts.
