Anderson leads Slam to 10th straight win


Bellingham's Morris Anderson scored a game-high 26 points and led the Slam to their 10th straight win with a 115-106 road victory over the Seattle Flight on Saturday, June 7, in Seattle.

The Slam led the majority of the way, but Seattle cut Bellingham's lead to 104-100 with 2:31 left in the fourth quarter. The Slam responded with a Blake Poole 3-pointer and an Anderson dunk to seal the win.

Poole recorded a double-double with 16 points and 20 rebounds. Former Washington Husky Will Conroy scored 14 points and had nine assists for the Flight.

Bellingham faces the Houston Strikers next weekend at 7 p.m. at Blaine High School.
