Whatcom brewery, distillery land on PSBJ lists

Boundary Bay Brewery and Bellewood Distilling have each landed on a Puget Sound Business Journal list of largest companies.

Boundary Bay ranks 16th highest among Washington breweries for net gallons produced in 2013. Boundary produced 183,396 net gallons last year, according to the list. Topping the list were Redhook Ale Brewery (4.6 million net gallons), Georgetown Brewing Co. (1.6 million net gallons) and Mac & Jacks Brewing Co. (1.4 million net gallons).

Bellewood Distilling ranked 7th highest among craft distilleries in Washington for gallons produced. The distillery produced 2,068 gallons last year. Topping the list were Woodinville Whiskey Co. (46,491 gallons produced), Westland Distillery (31,425 gallons) and Dry Fly Distilling (28,785 gallons). Just missing the top 25 list was Mount Baker Distillery, coming in at 28 with 371 gallons.
