A few biz tidbits

Here are a few items I spotted in building permits and news releases:

-- Building permits were submitted for The Grove at Bellingham apartment complex on Lincoln Street, south of Fred Meyer. Permits were submitted for several buildings totaling 198 units.

-- A permit was submitted to remodel the Ben Bridge Jeweler store at Bellis Fair mall.

-- A permit was submitted to remodel the building at 1825 Cornwall Ave. (near Bellingham High School) and will become a Habitat for Humanity store.

-- Bellingham-based TD Curran is opening its fifth store on Saturday, June 14 in Portland. The 7,500-square-foot store will offer Apple and Mac computer products.

-- Ragfinery recently expanded its business hours. The recycled textile business is now open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday at 1421 N. Forest St.

Bellingham Herald is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
