I think we have to understand that this is America, not England, not Australia. Talking about their gun laws compared to ours is irrelevant. That's like saying we shouldn't have a drinking age because other countries don't have one. I don't care how you look at it, but if someone wants to get a gun they are going to be able to get a gun, and taking guns away from responsible citizens could do more harm than good. There is a lot more attention and data that must be done before comparing our nation to another. We are a product of our society, maybe instead of looking at the guns we should look at how our youth treat one another and the home life of those individuals who do harm people with guns. As terrible as these episodes are, maybe looking at mental stability in the long run might be a more suitable option than restricting guns. For safety and health of our citizens.
