Close to 200 people gathered to watch some of the top snowboarders in the region show their stuff at the 2014 Mt. Baker Seshup on Sunday, June 1, on Grandma's at the base of Mount Herman near Mt. Baker Ski Area. Whatcom County skiers and snowboarders joined with snowboarders from Seattle and Vancouver, B.C. and pro snowboarders Pat McCarthy, Nick Enen and Andy Basabe for the all-day snow and big-air session. The session featured a gap on the in run and a 10- to 12-foot jump that launched riders 20 to 25 feet in the air and 40 feet out. The event was co-sponsored by Aslan Brewing and Casual Indurstrees.
