PeaceHealth holding free 'Forever Fit' class in Bellingham

BELLINGHAM - PeaceHealth St. Joseph Cancer Center will present a free program called "Forever Fit" on Tuesday, June 10.

The program will teach participants how gentle exercise and proper breathing are important for good health and well-being.

The session will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Room A at St. Luke's Community Health Education Center, 3333 Squalicum Parkway.

Dr. Jennie Crews, oncologist and medical director at the cancer center, will facilitate the program and introduce participants to two fitness experts who will lead them through exercises and breathing techniques.

They are Tammy Bennett, healthy lifestyle director at Whatcom Family YMCA, and Holly Davidson, yoga instructor and owner of Ferndale Kula Yoga studio.
