Questions support for female candidate

These days, I am hearing a lot of chatter revolving around a Hillary Clinton candidacy.

Many young folks state they see a decidedly "cool" factor in choosing a female president.

I would submit that the "cool" factor was a large quotient in many young folks selecting our first African-American president. We see how well a person with little or no experience in running a large organization has done in that office relying, it would seem to me, upon our better natures to forgive any shortcomings.

All coolness aside I would ask: Were Hillary a man with exactly the same experience, successes and failures, would he be such an "excellent" candidate so highly vaunted by any political party, gender, race or age group?
