Jazz duo Mike Allen on saxophone and Miles Black on piano perform music from Allen's recently released recording, "The Feel of Life," at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 1, at the Jansen Art Center, 321 Front St., in Lynden. Tickets are $15. The full CD is available for free on Allen's website, mikeallenjazz.com.

Allen and his quartet also perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, at BAAY Theatre, 1059 N. State St., hosted by the Jazz Project and Western Washington University's jazz program.

Admission is $10 general, $8 members of the Jazz Project and is free for students 18 and younger with ID.

Allen and bass player Adam Thomas perform with drummer Dan Brubeck in the Sudden Valley Library Jazz series at 3 p.m. June 7 in the dance barn at Sudden Valley (gate 2).
