Survivors battle zombies Saturday at Maritime Heritage Park

Zombies vs. Survivors, The Black Drop Coffeehouse, Bellingham

A massive game of water-balloon tag in downtown Bellingham, organized by The Black Drop Coffeehouse, will kick off at noon and go through 3 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Maritime Heritage Park. From the park, organizers will send teams on an item-finding mission through the streets of downtown.

BELLINGHAM - Saturday's weather should be just about perfect for a water balloon fight, as survivors battle zombies at Maritime Heritage Park.

Mostly sunny skies and a high near 71 degrees are forecasted for the fifth annual Save Our City: Zombies vs. Survivors, planned for noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 31.

Save Our City is a zombie-themed game of water balloon tag hosted by Black Drop Coffeehouse. It's free and open to people of all ages. Prizes will be awarded for best costume overall, best zombie and best survivor.
