Segovia-trained musician and composer Andre Feriante of Seattle performs at 6 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the Conway Muse, 18444 Main St., in Conway. Admission is $10.

Beginning with his first concert in Rome in 1979, Seattle-based, award-winning, Segovia-trained musician and composer Andre Feriante has performed for more than three decades in Europe, South America and throughout the U.S., bringing his contemporary sound to a sometimes traditional genre.

His creative blend of classical, flamenco and Brazilian styles in guitar, ukulele and the nylon-stringed banjo includes original music, classical and jazz standards, vocals in Italian, and poetry over guitar.

He performs at 6 p.m. Sunday, June 1, at the Conway Muse, Conway, 18444 Main St., in Conway. Admission is $10.
