Free adult immunization clinics offered in Everson, Ferndale

Whatcom County Health Department is sponsoring free immunization clinics for adults 19 years and older who are uninsured or whose insurance does not cover vaccine.

The first free clinic will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, May 30, at the Everson Senior Center at 111 W. Main St., Everson. A second clinic will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. June 3 at the Ferndale Senior Center at 1998 Cherry St.

The following vaccines will be offered as supplies allow: Shingles for those 60 years and older, Tdap (Tetanus/diphtheria/acellular pertussis, also known as whooping cough) and Hepatitis A for adults 19 years and older.
