120-foot cell tower planned for Bellingham's Sunnyland neighborhood


BELLINGHAM - People will have a chance to comment on a 120-foot cell tower proposed for the Sunnyland neighborhood.

A representatives from the tower siting company will hold a meeting Thursday, May 29, to introduce the project. The tower, which would hold Verizon antennas, is planned for 716 Alabama St., near James Street. The city requires the project applicant to hold a public meeting before applying for permits.

The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in the lecture room of the Bellingham Public Library, 210 Central Ave.
