Bellingham store offers lessons on making paper airplanes

Kids 6 and older are invited to come build their very own fleet of paper airplanes from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 31, at Launching Success Learning Store, 133 Prince Ave. in Bellingham.

Participants will learn how to fold paper to create specialty aircraft such as the glider and the delta. Once everyone is done making their fleet, the group will give the planes a test flight to see which of them will fly the farthest.

Each child will take home four folded airplanes and instructions so they can make them again at home.

The cost is $5 per child and pre-registration is required as space is limited. To register, call the store at 360-527-2641 or visit the store's website at

Parents should plan on staying during the class.
