Tent sale to replace carnival at Bellis Fair for Ski to Sea weekend

BELLINGHAM - The carnival rides won't be in the Bellis Fair parking lot for this year's Ski to Sea festivities, but the mall does have another event planned.

Davis Amusement Cascadia, which brought the rides up in recent years prior to 2013, is scheduled to be at the former Blaine airport area on Boblett Street May 22-25, according to the Blaine Chamber of Commerce

Sportswear giant Adidas is planning to have a tent sale May 23-26 in the empty parking lot across from Target at Bellis Fair. The sale will have more than 20,000 items, including apparel, footwear and accessories. Some items will be discounted up to 80 percent. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
