Pederson's double boosts Bellingham United


Bellingham United defeated the Seattle Stars 4-0 on Sunday, May 18, in Seattle. United goalkeeper Leo Cohen earned his second clean sheet of the season.

Andrew Weishaar opened scoring for United, tapping in a rebound after Sean Connor's header hit the crossbar. Kurtis Pederson added the second goal off of a Rene Caro assist just before the first half ended.

Muhammed Marenal added the third Bellingham goal in the 79th minute. Pederson then knocked in a cross from Conlon Kiffney in the 90th minute to put the game completely out of reach for the Stars.

United moves to 4-1-0 and will take on West Sound FC on Sunday, May 25, on the road.
