Mount Baker Toppers to sing, educate, at Jansen Art Center

THE BELLINGHAM HERALDMay 19, 2014

The Mount Baker Toppers, a men's a cappella chorus, perform a variety of musical genres, including pop, doo-wop, gospel and barbershop, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, at Jansen Art Center, 321 Front St., Lynden.

Along the singing, the Toppers will teach, demonstrate and do voice placement by showing how sound changes when singers stand next to or behind or in front of each other, and how changing the shape of your mouth creates or destroys overtones.

Admission: $5. Details: 360-354-3600, topperschorus.org.
