Bellingham High drama students present Spring Festival of Plays

Bellingham High School's drama department presents the annual Spring Festival of Plays at 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, May 21-24, at the school, 2020 Cornwall Ave. Tickets are $5 at the door.

Opening the festival May 21, senior Kelsey McHugh presents her production of "The Importance of Being Earnest." On May 22, junior Sammie Wilson directs a stage adaptation of "Finding Nemo."

On Friday, May 23, student teacher Kelsey Glasgow presents the drama "The Cover of Life." The festival closes with a series of short comedies directed by juniors Sarah Hill and Ian Slater.

All of the plays are chosen and produced by the students in the advanced drama class, with technical aspects developed by class members Ettienne Olivier, Aiyana Stephens, Wilson Housen and Anna Crowley.
