Western Washington University's M.E.Ch.A. (Movimiento Estudiantíl Chican at de Aztlán, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlán) hosts the annual "Ridin' Low in the 3-6-0" lowrider show from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 18, in WWU's Red Square.

The free show is a chance for a small community to promote a positive community culture to the greater audience of Whatcom County, specifically those who identify as Chicanos and Latinos.

The event centers on a car show, but also includes music, food, family-friendly contests, dancing, and information booths for representatives from local higher education institutions and community services. Details: Eva Ochoa, ochoaevita@wwu.edu.
