Bill McKibben, author of a dozen books about the environment, will be the guest for Chuckanut Radio Hour on Friday, May 16, at Whatcom Community College's Heiner Theater, 237 W. Kellogg Road.
McKibben's 1989 book, "The End of Nature," is regarded as the first book for a general audience on climate change. His recent titles include "Oil & Honey: The Education of An Unlikely Activist," and his memoir, "Wandering Home."
Musical guest is Bellingham singer and guitarist Dana Lyons.
Tickets are $5, available at Village Books. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; you must be seated by 6:45 as the show begins promptly at 7.
