Bellingham wins another NWC championship


Bellingham's girls' golf team won its 12th Northwest Conference Championship in a row on Monday, May 12, at Lake Padden Golf Course.

Jenn Paul took home medalist honors with a 76 and Madi McNeely finished second with an 84.

Squalicum, led by Courtney Flannery and Christina Kim's 69s, finished 48 strokes below Bellingham.

Mount Baker finished third with a strong showing from Natalie Verry, who shot a 99.

Ferndale finished fourth and Cienna Semsak paced the Golden Eagles with a 105.

Anacortes and Sedro-Woolley finished fifth and sixth.
