Ferndale's softball team continued its preparation for the postseason with a 15-0 win in four innings over Meridian on Saturday, May 10, at Ferndale.

Lauren Maley allowed only one hit as she pitched the full game for the first time in the past few games.

"It was nice to be able to get her some innings," Ferndale (17-1, 11-0 NWC) coach Holly Hilton said in a phone interview. "We've been resting her so we're trying to get back in full swing."

"We're just trying to kick it in gear to make sure we're ready," Hilton said.
