National Geographic reports on Whatcom County's growing role as fossil fuel hub

On its Daily News webpage, National Geographic has a lengthy report on the growing amounts of fossil fuels already being shipped through Whatcom County and much of the rest of the Salish Sea coastal region. 

The report quotes Bellingham City Council member Jack Weiss about the local concern over transport of explosive Bakken formation crude oil to local refineries.
