Dolk, Foster win in Blaine's final game


Blaine's girls' tennis team won two matches in its final match of the regular season in a 5-2 Northwest Conference loss to Sedro-Woolley on Wednesday, May 7, at Sedro-Woolley.

Blaine got wins from Saskia Dolk and Chloe Foster.

"Two and three singles played really well," Blaine coach John Freal said in a phone interview.

He also complimented Alex Henderson's performance against Kassidee Beuse at No. 1 singles.

"Alex Henderson had her best match of the season," Freal said. "It was a really good effort on her part."

Blaine finishes the season 3-12.
