World premiere today: Port of Bellingham webcasts

Posted by JOHN STARK on May 6, 2014

Starting today, the twice-monthly meetings of Port of Bellingham commissioners will be available for live viewing on the internet.

Watch today's meeting via this link to the port's YouTube page.

Here is a link to today's agenda.

Perhaps the most interesting item is a new lease arrangement for The Landings at Colony Wharf. This lease has been in the works for many months.

The port meeting is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. today, May 6. The three-member port commission's regular meetings are scheduled for 3 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of every month.

The port has contracted with Spinner LLC of Bellingham to provide the webcasts. An archived video of the meetings will also be available for later viewing.

Under the terms of its contract with Spinner, the port is paying $425 per meeting for the service.
