'Monty Python's Spamalot' on stage a lot in Vancouver, B.C.

Whether or not you've seen the movie that inspired it, "Spamalot" will make you laugh a lot.

Favorites old and new - the Knights Who Say "Ni," and the Laker Girls, among them - appear in the irreverent and ironic musical that parodies not only the legend of King Arthur but also well-tread Broadway theatrical conventions.

The Arts Club Theatre Company production of "Monty Python's Spamalot" runs from Thursday, May 8, to June 29 at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage, 2750 Granville St., in Vancouver, B.C., on stage Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m., Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. Details: artsclub.com.
