Ferndale's Jones sets season mark in 400 at Shoreline Invite

Daniel Jones, Roberto Aguilera and Donovan Campeau of Ferndale's boys' track and field team competed at the Shoreline Invitational on Saturday, May 3, at Shoreline Stadium.

Jones set a season personal best with a 52.43 in the 400, now the second-best time in the Northwest Conference behind Lynden's Trent Postma at 51.34.

Jones also ran an 11.83 in the 100 and a 23.59 in the 200.

Aguilera ran the 1,600, finishing with a time of 4:43.99.

Campeau competed in the pole vault, clearing a height of 12 feet, six inches.
