Disability issues and concerns focus of Bellingham forum

BELLINGHAM - The Governor's Committee on Disability Issues and Employment wants to hear from those with disabilities and their families during a town hall forum Thursday, May 8.

The event is 2 to 4 p.m. at St. Luke's Community Health Education Center, 3333 Squalicum Parkway.

Committee members want to learn about life, work issues, challenges and success from people with disabilities, organizers said.

People with disabilities, advocates, elected officials and service providers are encouraged to attend.
