Appalled at Shepard criticism

COURTESY TO THE BELLINGHAM HERALDMay 1, 2014

I'm sure I'm not the only one who sees the absurdity in Jason Overstreet's use of Dr. Martin Luther King's words to try to criticize Bruce Shepard's attempt to increase the level of diversity at WWU. Apparently, though, Mr. Overstreet just doesn't get it. When MLK uttered those now iconic words, he was fighting for exactly what Dr. Shepard is fighting for today. To use these words to criticize Dr. Shepard's continuation of MLK's dream is utterly appalling.
