Bellingham boys' golf duo ties for medalist


Nick Nolan and Taylor Paul tied for the medalist postion with a 75 to lead Bellingham's boys' golf team to a win on Tuesday, April 29, at Semiahmoo Golf and Country Club. Bellingham swept the top three, as Cody Roth took third overall with a 76.

"Nick Nolan was really solid all the way through the round," Bellingham coach David Bobillot said in a phone interview. "He was focused and hit some great shots. Taylor actually had a good round putting. He putted better than he has been."

Ezra Arneson led the third-place Lynden team with a 79. Sedro-Woolley was second.

Mount Baker took fourth, led by Dennis Kashubin's 87. Anacortes took fifth.

Blaine's Devan Boucher shot a 78 to lead the sixth place Borderites.
