PUBLIC MEETING SET ON BOISE RIVER PLAN

Boise Parks and Recreation wants to hear from you about the revised Boise River Resource Management and Master Plan from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 7 at the Idaho Department of Fish & Game headquarters, 600 S. Walnut St. in Boise. An introductory presentation will begin at 6 p.m., but people can drop by at any time.

The Boise River Resource Management and Master Plan was adopted by the Boise City Council in 1999. The draft plan is available online at parks.cityofboise.org, and you can also comment on the plan online if you can't make the meeting.

KIDS FISHING DERBY IN CALDWELL

The Seventh annual Caldwell Rotary & Anglers Habitat fishing derby for kidswill be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10 at Indian Creek in downtown Caldwell (Kimball and Blaine streets).

Registration is $5 and the deadline is May 6. Sign up by email at fishingderby@ci.caldwell.id.us; or in person at Anglers Habitat, 716 Blaine St., Caldwell or at Caldwell City Hall. For information, call Todd Kerr, Anglers Habitat, 270-7796.

ARCHERY SHOOT MAY 17-18 NEAR CAMBRIDGE

Registration opens at 8 a.m. both days for the Indianhead Bowhunters will host its annual Moose Shoot 3-D Archery Shoot.

The shoot features 40 life-like, 3-D targets and trophies Saturday and Sunday. There is camping in the area. For information, call Craig or Barbara at 549-1063; Jeremy, 739-3781; or Brandie, 739-0569.
