Storm fall to Anacortes

Squalicum's girls' tennis team went on the road and lost to Anacortes 5-2 on Tuesday, April 29.

Tirsa Randall-Grutter at No. 3 singles and Kim Dorr and Sarah Byron at No. 1 doubles picked up wins.

"I was very pleased with Tirsa's effort," Squalicum coach Joe O'Brien said in a phone interview. "Kim Dorr and Sarah Byron also had a good performance. They were able to change strategy in the middle quite well.

Squalicum (6-5, 2-4 NWC) plays Ferndale on Wednesday, April 30, at Ferndale.
