Nooksack Valley's softball team scored early and often in a 20-1 win over Squalicum in four innings in a Northwest Conference game on Monday, April 28, at Squalicum.

Kayla Struiksma picked up the win on the mound for Nooksack and went 3 for 3 at the plate with three runs and two RBI.

"Nooksack had good pitchers and they played good defense," Squalicum coach Loren Zenonian said in a phone interview. "We couldn't get an offense going, which has been improved lately. ... I never saw my players give up, which is what you can ask for."

Dakota Littlefield and Hailey Linville recorded Squalicum's two hits.
