Lynden Performing Arts Guild presents "The Mouse That Roared," set in the tiny, fictitious European nation of the Duchy of Grand Fenwick.

The residents are furious about unfair U.S. trading practices, so an army is sent to invade New York City, march up Broadway, and accidentally capture the world's newest and most destructive bomb. Then they have to figure out what to do with it.

John Gonzales directs the play, which runs Thursday, May 1, through May 18 at Claire vg Thomas Theatre, in the Dutch Village Mall, 655 Front St. Tickets are $12 adults, $10 students and seniors, $8 children, at 360-354-4425.
