Errors plague Trojans in loss

Meridian's baseball team fought back to a tie, but couldn't hold off Anacortes in a 9-4 loss on Wednesday, April 23, at Anacortes.

Davis Phillips took the loss for the Trojans, but only gave up one earned run as his team had five errors.

David Anderson was 2 for 3 for Meridian, and Dakota Jones went 2 for 3 with a double.

Meridian looks to bounce back at 4 p.m. Friday, April 25, at Ferndale.
